The basics
Residency and work authorization — to work as a performer in the UAE you need the legal right to work, such as an employment visa with a no-objection certificate (NOC) from your sponsor, a freelance permit from a free zone or the relevant authority, or your own license.
Event and entertainment permits — public performances are typically permitted at the event level by the relevant emirate authority (for example DET in Dubai, DCT in Abu Dhabi). Venues and event organizers usually arrange these; confirm who is responsible before the event.
Visiting international artists — artists flying in for a booking generally require the appropriate entry visa and event permits. For international bookings made through Soul Artists, flights, accommodation, and visa costs are paid by the client after the booking is completed.
