Artists who are live on Soul Artists now have the ability to message clients directly prior to the booking to ensure better communication and alignment on the booking inquiry.

Direct Messages allow clients to reach out directly to artists who are available and have quoted for an event or booking inquiry.

The messenger provides a way to communicate with the client and discuss the event details prior to them completing the payment and confirming the booking.

Once you receive a booking inquiry and quote the client for the event, then the client has the option to message an applied artist directly.

**Direct messages to the client can be received only once you have quoted for a booking inquiry.

If the client sends a message, you will be notified through the notification center and on your registered email address.

To reply to the client's message, just click the reply button on the email or go to the Messenger on Soul Artists Web.

You will now have the ability to chat with the client directly.

Based on your discussion with the client you can edit the quotation directly from the messenger at anytime prior to the client making the payment.

Just click on the (Edit quotation) button on the right side to change your quotation. (A box will expand and show you the current quotation and give you the option to change your quote).

Once you change your quote, you must add the reason for changing your rate. After that just click confirm to send the new quote to the client.

**Upon changing your quote, the client will receive an automated message that the rate has been changed and is presented with the option to complete the payment to secure the booking and confirm you for their event.

When using the Soul Artists Messenger you will be presented with automated messages to help you with the booking process, below are examples of the kind of messages you might see.

This option is presented once the artist confirms their availability and quotes the client for the event. To confirm the booking the client can proceed with the payment.

**Soul Artists acts as an escrow between you and the client to ensure a safe and optimal experience.

Artists have the option to change their quote based on the discussion with the client, if changed then the client will be presented with 2 options (Accept, or Decline).

If you accept the quote then the client will be presented with the proceed to payment option to complete the booking and secure the artist for your event.

If the client declines the updated quote, then the artist will be notified that the client has declined and asks the artist to requote so both parties are satisfied with the final price.

Once the payment is complete both parties will be notified that the booking is confirmed and the artist will be secured for the event. Your contact details will be shared with the artist for further coordination.

To cancel a booking that you have quoted for in the messenger, just click on edit quotation and click on "Cancel Booking"

Sharing your contact details or emails will be automatically redacted to ensure the conversation stays within the Soul Artists Platform.

**Messages are redacted to make sure both parties are protected, taking your booking outside of Soul Artists is a violation of the terms and conditions and could cause your account to get banned and blacklisted from the service.
